BEDA #9: Of Buffy and A Very Potter Sequel

So we drove home today from Savannah. It was a very pretty town, and I'm sad to see it gone, but ultimately I'm not sorry. I'm awfully exhausted after the trip. I basically just spent the entire car ride trying to tune out the audio book my parents were listening to to read my own book, mostly with success.

All I did when I got home was laze about on my bed. I decided to search Netflix for a new show to watch, when it hit me that I really didn't need to go far, because I'd wanted to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer for a while, and my decision was further made for me when I considered the fact that my friend Bree has been wanting me to watch it for a while, and almost all the YouTubers/wizard rockers that I subscribe to on YouTube and follow on Twitter love that show. I felt like I needed to be in on the secret of Buffy, so I happily found that it was available for instant streaming online and watched the first episode.

I'm kind of hooked.

And I'm kind of in love with David Boreanaz even more than I was before. Really what it made me do was miss Bones that much more. I want the new season to start RIGHT NOW! But as I still have roughly a month and a half before the season premier, I'll stick to watching all six seasons of Buffy and marvel at Sarah Michelle Geller's baby face in Season 1 xD

After dinner, I was doing the dishes, listening to the songs from A Very Potter Sequel that were available for free download from their bandcamp site, when I was like, wait a second, I know my account balance (I had just unlocked my online account, because the credit union had shut it down after my Awesome Summer of Awesome trip because they thought that those transactions were not mine, in short, that my card had been stolen. Dumb). Why shouldn't I just go ahead and buy the rest of the songs from A Very Starkid Album??? I couldn't stand not having To Have a Home, The Coolest Girl, Those Voices, No Way and Days of Summer any longer. Technically Stutter and Let the Games Begin are in AVPS too, but I figured I could live without those a little longer. The previous five I was just unable to live without anymore. They're just amazing. Literally, every time The Coolest Girl comes on, I just get shivers and wish to God that they'd make sheet music available for purchase so that I could sing it myself T_T

So now I'm listening to it. YAY!

That's it. Till tomorrow!

HPRT: I read on Twitter last night that Darren Criss, Brian Holden, Joey Richter and Joe Walker from Team Starkid had dinner with Red Vines execs last night. POTENTIAL AD CAMPAIGN??? "Red Vines. What the hell can't they do?"
